Possible plans for the next two years
Spent some time mulling over my projects, and I think I’m gonna skip the screenplay, and just put all my effort into Galaxia Prima (aka my space novel). Some time has passed, and I’ve improved a bit as a writer, so maybe I’ll get more done this time. I’m nervous, sure, but I’ve at least had an idea or two since I attempted to write it in 2020.
As I mentioned before, my next project is finishing up my Star Trek parody (once and for all), and that’s expected to take up to two months (Feb and Mar). After that, it’s all about the space novel, until the end of August. Hopefully it’ll be done by then. I hope to be able to do a second draft of Time’s Architects (the cyberpunk story) from Sept to Nov, with editing in Dec. A dangerous prospect to be sure, but I think I might be able to pull it off, if I can ramp things up as I’m working on the space novel.
The schedule for 2025 is similar, Jan to Aug, and Sept to Nov, working on second drafts of the golden plant story (Mr. Fisher’s Secret) and the space novel. This means I won’t be working on a new novel for quite a while… but it’s ok. I don’t have any ideas I want to pursue anyway, and these stories need to be developed beyond their first drafts.
I’m excited by all this, though, so I’m fine with all this. At first, I didn’t want to plan more than a few months into the future, but I think this is the better way to go, since I know what I’ll be working on for the time being. Onward!
